OTTO SPORT Welcomes Adam Hendel, Chief Technology Officer

OTTO SPORT is proud to welcome Adam Hendel as Chief Technology Officer.

Adam is an accomplished engineering leader with a rare cross-disciplinary background spanning military intelligence, advanced analytics, and large-scale software engineering. His work has powered more than $1 billion in annual revenue and delivered tens of millions in operational savings for leading technology companies.

Most recently, Adam was a founding engineer at Tembo, a database and AI startup, where he helped build the core platform and supported a successful $20 million funding raise.

Previously, Adam served as Principal Machine Learning Engineer at Shipt, leading optimization and recommendation systems that drove significant efficiency gains and tens of millions in annual cost savings. Earlier, at C.H. Robinson, he led teams that built and deployed the company's first automated pricing engines—systems through which more than $1 billion in gross revenue flowed.

Earlier in his career, Adam served as an officer in the U.S. Army Military Intelligence Corps, leading analytical teams and overseeing force protection operations across Europe.

At OTTO SPORT, Adam leads the engineering organization and AI Lab, driving the development of intelligent, scalable, and secure technology purpose-built for sports organizations.
