May 2026

OTTO SPORT is pleased to welcome Joe Bass as Chief Financial Officer.

Joe is an accomplished finance executive with nearly two decades of experience building and scaling finance organizations across both high-growth private companies and large public enterprises. He brings deep expertise at the intersection of software and services, spanning strategic financial planning, decision support, and finance transformation, with a track record of unlocking profitable growth through disciplined capital deployment, operational rigor, and clear performance management frameworks.

Most recently, Joe was Chief Financial Officer of TempWorks Software & Lone Oak Payroll, a privately held software and services company providing front- and back-office software, payroll and tax processing, working-capital financing, and employer-of-record services to the staffing industry. Over his tenure, he scaled systems, processes, and teams across finance, accounting, accounts receivable, and underwriting to support business growth from $25 million to $60 million in revenue. He also led key capital and liquidity initiatives, including a credit facility expansion from $15 million to $90 million.

Previously, Joe held progressively senior finance roles at Constellation Brands, the publicly traded beverage alcohol company behind Corona, Modelo, Robert Mondavi, and Kim Crawford. As Finance Director for U.S. Supply Chain – Import Beer & Specialty Beverages, he led a team responsible for more than $900 million in variable operating expenses and developed a cost savings program responsible for over $1 billion in productivity through network optimization, contract negotiations, and capital investment.

Earlier in his career, Joe served as a Senior Consultant in Deloitte's CFO Advisory practice and completed rotations across manufacturing operations, sales & marketing, and procurement as part of General Mills' Finance Leadership Development Program.

At OTTO SPORT, Joe leads the finance organization, building the systems, controls, and decision-support infrastructure needed to scale the company across its Sport, Event, and Prep businesses. His focus is on translating operational performance into clear, actionable insight—giving the leadership team and board the visibility to invest with confidence and grow with discipline.

Joe holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, where he graduated summa cum laude. Based in the Twin Cities, he lives with his wife and young children.
