SportWrench Adds 35 Premier Volleyball Tournaments as OTTO SPORT AI Expands Industry Leadership

August 12, 2026

Tournament operators Kathy Lietzke and Ted Wade (Junior Volleyball Association of Austin - JVAA), Ryan Bozell, Scott McQueen, and Lance Keating (Capitol Sports Center - CSC) select SportWrench to power their events, launch the ITS hotel platform, and join OTTO SPORT AI's Strategic Advisory Board with AES founder Brad Preston.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — August 12, 2026 — Fresh off its landmark partnership with Junior Volleyball Association (JVA), OTTO SPORT AI today announced another major expansion of its tournament management platform, SportWrench, as veteran volleyball event operators Kathy Lietzke, Ted Wade, Ryan Bozell, Scott McQueen, and Lance Keating have selected the platform to power 35 premier volleyball tournaments beginning with the 2026–27 season.

The addition includes several of the nation's most recognized USA Volleyball National Qualifiers, including the Mideast Qualifier and Lone Star Classic Qualifier, and significantly expands SportWrench's presence across the Hoosier and Lone Star USA Volleyball Regions. Together, these events welcome hundreds of thousands of athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators each season and represent another major milestone in the continued shift toward modern, volleyball-first tournament technology.

Introducing Integrated Tournament Solutions (ITS)

In addition to selecting SportWrench, Kathy Lietzke, Ryan Bozell, and Scott McQueen, together with AES founder Brad Preston, are launching ITS, a new volleyball-focused technology platform designed to modernize tournament housing and event operations. OTTO SPORT AI will serve as launch partner. Together, the group brings decades of experience in tournament operations, technology, and customer service across the volleyball ecosystem.

Through the partnership, participating tournaments will become the first to offer fully integrated hotel booking directly within the SportWrench event experience, simplifying travel planning for clubs and families while reducing administrative work for tournament directors. The integration brings tournament management and hotel reservations together in a single, connected experience, eliminating disconnected systems and streamlining one of the most complex aspects of tournament operations.

"The momentum we've experienced over the past several weeks is a reflection of where volleyball is headed," said Eugene Tichenor, Head of SportWrench at OTTO SPORT AI. "Tournament directors are looking for partners that continually innovate, invest in customer success, and understand the unique needs of volleyball. Following our partnership with JVA, we're honored to see so many premier events choosing SportWrench as they plan for the future."

Building on Unprecedented Momentum

The announcement follows SportWrench's recent partnership with Junior Volleyball Association and continues one of the fastest periods of growth in the company's history. In just the past several weeks, more than 100 volleyball tournaments have selected SportWrench, as organizations across the country continue adopting more integrated volleyball technology solutions.

Tournament operators continue choosing SportWrench for its purpose-built volleyball workflows, integrated ticketing, live scoring, rapid pace of innovation, and industry-leading customer support, including a dedicated event operations team that frequently works onsite alongside customers to help ensure successful tournaments.

Strengthening Volleyball Leadership

As part of the partnership, Kathy Lietzke, Ryan Bozell, Scott McQueen, Ted Wade, Lance Keating, and Brad Preston will join OTTO SPORT AI as Strategic Advisors, providing direct insight from some of the nation's largest and most influential volleyball events while helping guide product innovation, customer success, operational strategy, and industry partnerships.

"My late husband, Glen Lietzke, spent his career innovating and searching for better ways to serve the sport," said Kathy Lietzke, Co-Founder of ITS. "ITS brings together decades of event experience and a commitment to improving the experience for tournament directors, clubs, athletes, and families. I'm excited to continue that legacy while helping shape the next chapter for our sport."

"Volleyball has benefited from decades of innovation, and we're fortunate to build on that foundation," said Brad Preston. "The next chapter is about connecting systems, simplifying operations, and creating a better experience for tournament directors, clubs, athletes, and families. I'm thrilled about the opportunity to help shape what comes next."
